Concrete Cleaner - Super Concrete Renovator (SCR)
Concrete Cleaner - Super Concrete Renovator From SureCrete
Concrete Cleaner from SureCrete Design Products - SCR is a penetrating concentrated renovator for concrete and cement-based products. It quickly dissolves mortar, scale, rust, algae, stains, and mineral deposits such as efflorescence. SCR is the safe alternative to muriatic acid, contains no toxic heavy metals, or ozone-depleting solvents. With its high concentration detergent balanced with acid, Concrete Cleaner is the premier one step surface preparation material ensuring a measure of cleaning, degreasing, and profiling. Its multi-function, environmentally friendly Concrete Cleaner for big variety types of surfaces.

PLEASE NOTE: 5 Gal available for pick up only
Mixing ratio
Varies by application: no dilution to 4:1 (4 parts water to 1 part SCR)
Coverage
Varies upon substrate: 150 ft2 per gal (14 m2 per 3.8 L) - undiluted. Please see delution rates below
Application:
Apply in temperatures above freezing and below 90°F (32°C).
General cleaning of concrete
1. Dilute SCR 2:1 with water (2 parts water to 1 part SCR) 2. Dampen concrete with water from mist of pump-up sprayer or garden hose trigger nozzle.
3. Apply evenly 2:1 diluted product across surface of con- crete. Best results are achieved by spraying from a plastic pump-up sprayer.
4. While still wet with product, scrub concrete with a stiff bristle-broom.
5. Before SCR can dry, rinse with garden hose or power wash with a fan-tipped pressure washer.
As surface preparation on exterior concrete
1. Dilute SCR 2:1 with water (2 parts water to 1 part SCR) 2. Dampen concrete with water from mist of pump-up sprayer or garden hose trigger nozzle.
3. Apply evenly 2:1* diluted product across surface of con- crete. Best results are achieved by spraying from a plastic pump-up sprayer.
4. While still wet with product, scrub concrete with a stiff bristle-broom
5. Before SCR can dry, power wash with minimum 3,000 PSI (21,000 kPa) pressure washer equipped with a turbo-tip.
*note: stronger dilution rates may be required for ad- equate profile. Some surface preparation may require other measures that should be evaluated (e.g. grinding, shot blasting).
As surface preparation on interior concrete
1. Dilute SCR 2:1 with water (2 parts water to 1 part SCR) 2. Dampen concrete with water from mist of pump-up sprayer or garden hose trigger nozzle.
3. Apply evenly 2:1* diluted product across surface of con-crete. Best results are achieved by spraying from a plastic pump-up sprayer.
4. While still wet with product, scrub concrete with black pad on a rotational floor machine
5. Keep floor wet with frequent rinsing.
6. Mop residue until rinse water is clear or utilize water ex- traction equipment.
*note: stronger dilution rates may be required for ad- equate profile. Some surface preparation may require other measures that should be evaluated (e.g. grinding, shot blasting).
Cleaning overlay prior to coloring or sealing
1. Dilute SCR 4:1 with water (4 parts water to 1 part SCR) 2. Dampen concrete with water from mist of pump-up sprayer or garden hose trigger nozzle.
3. Apply evenly 4:1 diluted product across surface of over- lay. Best results are achieved by spraying from a plastic pump-up sprayer.
4. While still wet with product, gently brush surface with a soft bristle-broom
5. Before Concrete Cleaner can dry, gently rinse with garden hose or power wash with a fan-tipped pressure washer.
Prepping XS Precast and XS Face
1. Dilute SCR 3:1 with water (3 parts water to 1 part SCR) 2. Wet XS piece with water from pump-up sprayer or sponge.
3. Brush or sponge 3:1 diluted product onto vertical edges of XS pieces first.
4. Spray or sponge 3:1 diluted product from plastic pump- up sprayer onto surface.
5. While still wet with SCR, gently brush surface with a soft bristle brush.
6. Do not allow diluted concrete cleaner to stand on surface, rinse immediately.
Cleaning stamping tools and molds
1. Dilute SCR 4:1 with water (4 parts water to 1 part SCR) 2. Dampen stamping tools or molds with water from mist of pump-up sprayer or sponge.
3. Spray 4:1 diluted concrete cleaner from plastic pump-up sprayer onto tools or molds.
