SureCrete Concrete Countertop Sealer XS-PC12 is a professional-grade, hybrid solvent-based polyurea coating designed to protect your most used surfaces. Whether you are sealing completed concrete countertops, cement-based terrazzo, or GFRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete), this color-enhancing, high-gloss sealer provides an impenetrable physical barrier. It creates commercial-grade abrasion resistance that is perfectly suited for standard concrete as well as the Xtreme Series materials.

Unlike standard acrylic or polyurethane sealers, the XS-PC12 is a film-forming concrete countertop food safe sealer built on polyurea technology. Its two-component structure (59% solids by weight and fully UV stable) creates a surface that beads water excellently. It boasts a low VOC profile (400 g/L) while delivering extreme heat resistance — withstanding temperatures up to 300°F (149°C). Once fully cured, it creates a polishable surface that can achieve a stunning mirror finish.

When researching concrete counter sealers, professionals look at the data. SureCrete XS-PC12 has been rigorously tested against both household and industrial chemicals (24-hour spot testing) with outstanding results:

• Household Items (No Effect): Coffee, Cola, Grape juice, Ketchup, Clorox Bleach (5–10%). Note: Mustard may cause transient staining.
• Industrial Chemicals (No Effect): 100% Ethanol, Mineral Spirits, Xylene, MEK (methyl ethyl ketone).
• Acids & Bases (No Effect): 85% Lactic acid, 50% Sulfuric acid, 38% Hydrochloric acid, and 50% Sodium hydroxide. This means acidic spills like lemon juice or wine will not cause acid etching on your concrete surfaces!

How To Apply XS-PC12 (Concrete Countertop Sealing Guide)

1. Preparation & Environment: Any surface about to be sealed must be completely cured, profiled, and etched. Ensure it is clean, dry, and free of any contaminates. Apply only when surface and air temperatures are between 60°F–90°F (16°C–32°C).
2. Mixing: Pour ONE part B into a clean mixing container, followed by THREE parts A (Mixing Ratio: 3 parts "A" to 1 part "B"). Mix mechanically for two minutes.
3. Application (Pot Life): The mixed product has a pot life of approximately 30 minutes. Pour the XS-PC12 onto your surface and spread with a high-density foam roller. Work only in small sections (finishing each in about 4–5 minutes).
4. Backrolling: Backroll each work area until it becomes tacky to the touch to ensure an even, high-gloss finish.
5. Second Coat: When the first coat is dry to the touch (but not tacky), you can apply your second coating.
6. Curing Time: The surface is ready for light use after 24 hours. Full cure — and 100% food-safe status — is achieved after 7 days.
