How to Apply GA-2
- Surface Preparation: Ensure surface is clean, dry, and free of dust, oil, grease, and existing sealers. Allow new concrete to cure for at least 30 days. Substrate must be at least 5°F above the dew point.
- Testing: Always apply a test area to confirm compatibility and appearance.
- Mixing: Stir GA-20 thoroughly before use. Do not thin.
- Application: Apply using a high-quality roller (3/8" nap) or solvent based sealer sprayer. Avoid pooling. Apply in two light coats rather than one heavy coat.
- Drying & Recoat: Allow the first coat to dry according to the cure schedule above. A second coat can be applied once the surface is tack-free and shows no solvent retention.
- Cleanup: Clean tools with xylene or xylol immediately after use.
