GA-25W Water Based Acrylic Sealer for Concrete
GA-25W is a single-component, water-based acrylic sealer formulated to provide excellent water resistance and stain protection — without the harsh odor of solvent-based sealers. This 21% solids, low-VOC (<84 g/L) formula produces a durable gloss finish while maintaining the concrete’s natural color tone, with minimal color enhancement.
Ideal for use on exterior concrete, overlays, stamped concrete, and masonry, GA-25W applies easily and dries quickly. Unlike wet-look sealers, it does not darken or deepen the concrete’s color, making it ideal for surfaces where color accuracy and clarity are important. Each gallon covers 400–540 sq. ft., depending on porosity and texture.

How to Apply GA-25W:
- Surface Preparation: Ensure surface is free of dust, dirt, oil, grease, or sealers. For thin-build systems (3–8 mils wet), mechanically scarify or acid etch to create a proper profile. Concrete must be cured at least 30 days. Damp (not wet) surfaces are acceptable.
- Vapor Barrier Test (if needed): Tape down a 4" x 4" plastic sheet for 24 hours. If no moisture appears underneath, hydrostatic pressure is not an issue.
- Mixing: Stir thoroughly before use. Use slow-speed equipment to avoid air entrapment.
- Application: Apply with a 3/8" nap roller, brush, or sprayer in even coats. Avoid puddling and apply two light coats for best results.
- Recoat: Ensure the first coat is dry to the touch and passes the fingerprint test before recoating. Cooler conditions will extend cure time.
- Cleanup: Clean tools immediately after use with soap and water.
Note: Do not apply over standing water. Avoid heavy application that may trap moisture. GA-25W should not be used in immersion or high chemical exposure environments.
