GlobMarble Stamped Concrete Touch-Up Wheels

GlobMarble 3" Stamped Concrete Touch-Up Wheels are professional detailing rollers designed for shaping, repairing, and cleaning up grout lines while stamped concrete is still plastic and workable. Each wheel mounts on a roller handle and is designed to match common grout-joint profiles found in stamped concrete patterns.

Touch-up wheels are commonly used to correct squeeze-up between adjoining concrete stamps. Squeeze-up happens when concrete is pushed upward between two stamps during the stamping process, leaving a visible raised seam. While continuing to stamp, the installer can run the appropriate touch-up wheel through the previously stamped grout joint to reshape the seam and blend it back into the surrounding pattern.

They can also be used to continue grout lines into areas where a full-size stamp could not reach, repair damaged or uneven joints, and create or reopen decorative joints when working with seamless texture skins. For example, if a joint is first cut with a groover and then partially closes after a texture skin is pressed into the concrete, a touch-up wheel can be run back through the joint while the concrete is still workable.

For correcting squeeze-up on standard concrete stamps, we generally recommend choosing a touch-up wheel that is slightly narrower than the actual grout line on the stamp. A slightly narrower wheel gives the installer room to make small corrections or a second pass without accidentally widening the repaired section beyond the surrounding grout joints.

Several GlobMarble touch-up wheels are offered in both Smooth and Sanded versions. Smooth rollers leave a cleaner grout-line surface, while Sanded rollers have a sandpaper-like texture that produces a more natural, slightly sandy finish similar to the grout texture found on many concrete stamps.

Every applicable GlobMarble concrete stamp product page lists the recommended touch-up wheel for that particular stamp pattern.

Chiseled Touch-Up Wheel

Creates a natural, irregular grout joint with a chiseled, hammered, rocky, stone-textured appearance. The wedge-shaped profile allows the finished grout-line width to change depending on how deeply the wheel is pressed into the concrete.

  • Profile: Chiseled / textured wedge
  • Shape: 90° wedge
  • Maximum Joint Width: Up to ~ 3/4", depending on depth
  • Surface: Natural chiseled and hammered texture
  • Creates a less uniform joint than a smooth V-shaped roller
  • Excellent for blending grout lines into natural stone textures
  • Can be used to add texture to joints originally cut with a groover

Recommended for: Many travertine stamps, natural stone stamp patterns, stamped concrete borders, seamless texture skin applications, and projects where a natural chiseled or rocky grout joint is desired.

V-Shape Touch-Up Wheel

A sharp 90-degree wedge-shaped wheel that produces a clean V-shaped grout joint. Because the wheel comes to a sharp point, the width of the finished joint can be controlled by how deeply the roller is pressed into the concrete.

  • Profile: Sharp V-shape
  • Shape: 90° wedge
  • Tip: Sharp point
  • Maximum Joint Width: Up to ~ 3/4", depending on depth
  • Surface: Smooth
  • Creates clean, straight wedge-shaped grout joints
  • Useful for reopening joints that have closed after texture skin stamping
  • Allows the installer to control joint width through depth

Recommended for: Many cobblestone stamps, wood plank stamps, selected ashlar patterns, stamped concrete borders, seamless texture skins, and clean V-shaped decorative joints.

Rounded 3/16" Touch-Up Wheel

A narrow rounded-bottom grout wheel with an approximately 3/16" rounded tip. Above the rounded tip, the sides taper outward at approximately a 30-degree angle to blend naturally into the stamped surface.

  • Bottom Profile: Rounded
  • Rounded Tip Diameter: 3/16"
  • Taper Angle: 30°
  • Available Finishes: Smooth or Sanded
  • Produces a narrow rounded-bottom grout joint
  • Smooth version creates a cleaner joint surface
  • Sanded version creates a more natural, sandy grout texture
  • Useful for correcting squeeze-up and reopening existing joints

Recommended for: Some wood plank stamps, ashlar and natural stone patterns, some brick stamps, stamped concrete borders, seamless texture skins, and narrow rounded grout lines.

Rounded 3/8" Touch-Up Wheel

A wider rounded touch-up roller with an approximately 3/8" rounded tip. The wheel transitions outward from the rounded bottom at approximately a 60-degree angle, creating a wider and softer grout-line profile.

  • Bottom Profile: Rounded
  • Rounded Tip Diameter: 3/8"
  • Taper Angle: 60°
  • Available Finishes: Smooth or Sanded
  • Creates a wider rounded-bottom grout line
  • Smooth version leaves a cleaner grout surface
  • Sanded version adds a natural sandy texture
  • Designed for patterns with larger, softer-looking joints

Recommended for: Some wood plank stamps, ashlar and stone patterns, many brick-pattern concrete stamps, and other patterns using a wider rounded grout joint.

Flat 3/16" Touch-Up Wheel

A narrow flat-bottom roller designed to closely match the tapered grout-line shape used on many stamped concrete patterns. The 3/16" flat tip transitions outward at approximately a 30-degree angle.

  • Bottom Profile: Flat
  • Flat Tip Width: 3/16"
  • Taper Angle: 30°
  • Available Finishes: Smooth or Sanded
  • Narrow profile provides extra control when correcting grout joints
  • Helps reduce the chance of making a repaired seam too wide
  • Smooth version creates a clean flat-bottom joint
  • Sanded version creates a textured, natural grout surface
  • Useful for squeeze-up repair, extending grout lines, and reopening joints

Recommended for: Most wood plank stamps, many ashlar and stone-textured stamps, some brick patterns, many paver stamps, borders, seamless texture skins, and narrow flat-bottom grout joints.

Flat 1/4" Touch-Up Wheel

A medium-width flat-bottom detailing roller with a 1/4" flat tip. The sides taper outward at approximately 30 degrees to closely resemble the shape of many standard stamped concrete grout lines.

  • Bottom Profile: Flat
  • Flat Tip Width: 1/4"
  • Taper Angle: 30°
  • Available Finishes: Smooth or Sanded
  • Creates a medium-width flat-bottom grout joint
  • Smooth version leaves a cleaner finished joint
  • Sanded version produces a more natural textured grout surface
  • Can be used for squeeze-up correction, pattern continuation, and joint repair
  • Versatile profile for many common concrete stamp patterns

Recommended for: Many wood plank stamps, ashlar and stone-textured stamps, some brick patterns, many paver stamps, stamped concrete borders, and seamless texture skin applications.

Flat 3/8" Touch-Up Wheel

A wider flat-bottom grout roller with a 3/8" flat tip and sides that taper outward at approximately a 30-degree angle. This wheel is intended for concrete stamps with larger and more pronounced flat-bottom grout joints.

  • Bottom Profile: Flat
  • Flat Tip Width: 3/8"
  • Taper Angle: 30°
  • Available Finishes: Smooth or Sanded
  • Creates a wider flat-bottom grout line
  • Smooth version leaves a clean joint surface
  • Sanded version produces a more natural textured finish
  • Best suited for patterns where narrower rollers would not adequately match the original grout joint

Recommended for: Some ashlar and stone-textured stamps, selected brick-pattern stamps, and stamped concrete patterns with wider flat-bottom grout joints.
